Verizon Motorola Droid X price plans and specifications

Verizon Wireless in US and Motorola announced the upcoming availability of Droid X smartphone. The new Droid X be the successor of Motorola Droid (Also Milestone outside US) which is currently one of the most popular handsets of Verizon. Based on Android OS 2.1, the Droid X joins the league of HTC HD2 and HTC EVO 4G in terms of its screen size. The 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen of Droid X has 854 x 480 resolution and a new improved version of MotoBlur UI. Equipped with a 8 MP snapper, the Droid X records HD videos at 720p and has an HDMI output. Verizon has announced a very competitive price plan and iPhone 4 like upgrade option for all potential customers of Droid X.

Airtel digital TV Recorder with option to record DTH channel programs

Airtel Digital TV is in Indian DTH market from the last few months. Airtel’s entry was a little bit late, but they managed to gain good market share in a very short span of time. Their STB uses the future ready DVB-S2 technology. In order to provide better services and facilities to their DTH users, Airtel launched Airtel digital TV Recorder. The new Airtel digital TV Recorder can record live TV shows in DVD quality and store them to inbuilt 160GB hard disk. Users can schedule video recording, pause, rewind and fast forward the parts of their favorite TV shows that are recorded. Moreover, Airtel digital TV Recorder offers HDMI port that can be used to connect the device to external High Definition Televisions. All Airtel Digital TV DTH customers can upgrade to the latest device for at a very nominal price.

Samsung Galaxy 3 Android phone announced

Soon after the release of mighty Samsung Galaxy S for customers, Samsung yesterday announced the upcoming Galaxy 3 Android phone at CommunicAsia Singapore. The Samsung Galaxy 3 is an Android 2.1 based phone with Samsung TouchWIZ UI 3.0 over it. There is nothing much to discuss about it features, but it would be the first Android handset to feature a WQVGA screen. The phone is designed to be in a mid-range below Galaxy S with basic social media connectivity and multi-media facilities.

Samsung Wave 2 and Wave 2 pro Bada phones introduced

Samsung today introduced two new Wave phones, Samsung S5250 Wave 2 and S5330 Wave 2 Pro. The Wave series includes Samsung’s propriety Bada OS, and its first used in Samsung Wave S8500. The Samsung Wave 2 and Samsung Wave 2 pro has identical design parameters. The only difference is in Wave 2 pro, a QWERTY slide-out keypad. However, both Wave 2 phones have large changes in specifications when compared with the original Samsung Wave. Samsung Wave 2 and Samsung Wave 2 phones just only have 2G connectivity and their display is far inferior to Super AMOLED display in original Wave. It sees that thee production low cost Bada phones has started with Samsung Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro.

Android OS 3.0 Gingerbread features leaked

We are hearing some good news. Google and Android community is reportedly developing the upcoming version of Android, the Android 3.0 Gingerbread. The latest release Android 2.2 Froyo is already available for Nexus one, and other manufacturers are in the process of updating their devices. The Gingerbread, however, will impose certain compatibility restrictions on its use based on hardware features of the devices. The preliminary features of Android 3.0 Gingerbread show that it supports only the high-end smartphones.

HTC to launch HTC Wildfire Android phone in India

HTC is planning to launch HTC Wildfire Android phone in India. The HTC Wildfire is a minimal version of HTC Desire, which also has design elements from the Nexus One from Google. Similar to HTC HD mini Windows mobile handset, the Wildfire is a low cost alternative for the original handset. Already available in UK and European countries, the HTC Wildfire is an HTC sense enabled Android phone with social media connectivity. The device is best suited for people in India looking for a mini version of Nexus One or Desire.

Mercedes Benz Announced Rs 2 Crore Sports Car

German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz on Friday launched its flagship super sports car – SLS AMG – for the Indian market with a price range of Rs. 2 -2.50 crore.

The car has an aluminum body to give it a lower weight, competitors are the Audi R8 and Porsche 911 Turbo. “Demand has been phenomenal, and while we have already sold 10 cars in just a few months of discovery, has been strong interest, which gives us confidence that sales will be higher next year.”

Airtel to Luanch Iphone 4 in october 2010 in India

Country's largest telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has revealed its plans to launch iPhone 4, the latest product from Apple Computers's stable, by October.
US-based Apple Inc, the inventor of iPods, iPhones and iPads, had last month announced the launch of the iPhone 4 with a sharper screen and video-chat features in an attempt to ward-off competition from devices running Google's Android software.

Death Toll rises to 60 and 150 injured in Uttar Banga-Vananchal Express Collision

At least 60 people were killed and 150 injured when a speeding passenger train ploughed through a train standing at a station in West Bengal's Birbhum district in the early hours of Monday.

The Sealdah-bound Uttar Banga Express rammed into three coaches, one luggage van and two unreserved general second class coaches, of the stationary Bhagalpur-Ranchi Vananchal Express at Sainthia station in Birbhum, about 190 km from Kolkata, at about 2.15 a.m., railway authorities said.

IPhone 4 to be Luanched in India on October 4th

Bharti Airtel has announced that it will bring iPhone 4 in India by October
The iPhone 3GS was introduced on March 26, 2010 in India by Airtel and its rival Vodafone. We believe that introduction of iPhone 4 might affect the sales of iPhone 3GS in India. However, that equation is based more or less on the basis of pricing of both models in India. The 32GB iPhone 3GS model is available for a hefty Rs. 41,500 but we hope to see some price cut for the iPhone 3GS models.

When iPhone 3GS was introduced, the price of iPhone 3G was slashed by Rs. 1,500 in India.

UFO in China video found

UFO Found in China at Xiaoshan on july 7th 2010

The latest mass claim of a UFO sighting occurred on the night of July 7 in city of Xiaoshan, located in the Hangzhou province of China. The alleged UFO was reported as being a bright, but oddly shaped light hovering in the sky near the airport. Fearing for safety, the airport closed down for some time, delaying nearly two dozen flights.Numerous people reported the sighting and within hours, photos and video recordings of the alleged UFO began sprouting up on video sharing web sites such as Youtube and with various news sources.

According to state media outlet China Daily, the incident happened at Hangzhou's Xiaoshan Airport on July 7, when the UFO was spotted around 8:30 pm
