Miss Philippines Venus Raj Leading Miss Universe 2010 Rankings
The 2010 Miss Universe Pageant will be aired live on August 23rd, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Miss Philippines Maria Venus Raj currently tops the online survey conducted by The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) on the pageant's website.
The online poll puts Venus Raj of the Philippines at the top choice with a rating of 3.58. She is followed by Miss Bolivia Claudia Arce Lemaitre with 3.00 and Miss Venezuela Marelisa Gibson with 2.93.
Although the public voting does not in any way affect the choice of the judges, it reveals Ms. Raj's popularity among the public.
Preliminary judges have already selected the Top 15 candidates for the 2010 Miss Universe beauty contest now being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. They will be announced during the televised show on Monday night Aug. 23.
