HTC Wildfire Android smartphone hitting U.S. in 2011
HTC announced that its Wildfire, a compact Android 2.1 smartphone with HTC Sense, will land on American regional carriers in during the fourth quarter of this year.
The HTC Wildfire has a 5 megapixel camera, a 523MHz processor, 802.11 b/g/ Wi-Fi, aGPS, and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. The phone launched in Europe during the third quarter of this year. HTC did not specifically name wireless carriers that will launch the phone.
